QA / QC Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project QA/QC system in compliance with LTA contract requirements and Singapore Standards.
• Establish, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Oversee site inspections, testing, audits and quality surveillance activities.
• Review and approve ITPs, method statements, material submissions and test results.
• Manage NonConformance Reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with LTA, consultants and subcontractors on quality matters.
• Supervise and guide engineers and inspectors on QA/QC related matters.
• Prepare and submit quality reports and maintain proper quality records.
• Control/check on status of issue/revisions of QA/QC documents/drawings within section/on sites.
• Ensure all QA/QC control measures and procedures are documented, implemented and auditable.
• Maintaining the quality assurance records and execution of periodic inspection on job.
• Verify that all quality related activities are in accordance with codes and standards.
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior/management deems fit.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of QA/QC experience in civil engineering projects.
• Proven LTA MRT / infrastructure project experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of LTA specifications, ISO 9001 and construction quality systems.
• Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and site based.
