Job Description & Requirements
The QAQC Manager (Site) is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
Planning & Programming
- Establish the Project Quality System.
Quality
- Report on operational procedures that affect quality and provide improvements to the project quality system.
- Liaise with the Consultants team on quality control issues.
- Conduct factory visits as per project requirements with client/consultant representative.
- Liaise with suppliers/vendors on quality control issues.
- Review and prepare reports on Authority inspections (RI inspection, BCA TOP inspection etc).
Safety
- Responsible for the compliance with safety & occupational health practices to be implemented at the QAQC Section.
- Responsible for site implementation of safety standards to comply with IMS safe work methods.
Others
- Application to BCA for CONQUAS Assessment and provide a framework to achieve the score.
- Review CONQUAS scores.
- Review QM Scores if applicable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- At least 10 years of quality control/ assurance experience in the building and construction industry.
- Proven track record in the implementation of quality control measures.
Personality:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence various stakeholders and build long-term relationships.
- Ability to lead QAQC Assistant Manager and provide supervision to all QAQC staff.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong technical knowledge of IMS International standards.
- Track record in implementing quality control measures.
- Very familiar with local regulations pertaining to Builder's Licence, Work Head Registration, or other related requirements.
- Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues quickly and provide countermeasuresto settle the issues.
