Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and procedures in compliance with ISO standards and client requirements.

  • Oversee quality inspections, testing activities, and documentation across all construction phases, including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and commissioning works.

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards (CONQUAS experience is an advantage).

  • Supervise inspection processes for material receiving, ongoing works, mock-ups, and final handover.

  • Liaise with clients, authorities, and third-party inspectors during audits and site inspections.

  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Ensure all quality documentation, checklists, and test records are properly maintained and submitted for handover.

  • Support commissioning and validation activities, particularly for controlled or critical environments.

  • Provide training, guidance, and oversight to site QA/QC personnel to ensure consistent quality standards.

  • Participate in risk assessments, method statement reviews, and quality-related meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronics) in a construction-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in building or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards, QA/QC processes, and international quality systems.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems, containment, cleanroom classification, and critical utilities is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in documentation control, audit preparation, and quality monitoring tools.
  • Workplace safety certification (e.g. WSQ, WSH) is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • A team player who can also work independently and effectively resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
