QA/QC Engineer

• Position: QA/QC Engineer

• Location: Woodlands

• Working hours: Monday - Friday (8am-5.30pm), Alternate Saturday (8am-12pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,200 + Performance Bonus + Staff Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Civil Engineering

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and execute quality assurance and quality control of project

• Ensure all products are executed in accordance to contract specifications

• Liaise and coordinates with suppliers / sub-contractors to ensure quality control

• Plan and arrange of transportation for delivery of materials to site

• Facilitate in monitoring material status updates and traceability records while maintaining scheduled workload

• Facilitate on off-site inspection/ sampling / testing and submission of materials

• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment and aiming for zero accident

• Making sure sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements

• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field

• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry, preferably in structural steelwork

• Familiar with CONQUAS and QMA scheme

• Knowledge in quality control documentation

• Welding inspection certificate (CSWIP 3.1) an advantage
