Job Summary
The QA/QC Lead reports to the Head of Department to ensure that all products and components meet quality and safety standards, as well as established internal procedures. In addition to extensive experience in external auditing and laboratory machine operation, the QA/QC Lead is responsible for document control, including maintaining accurate and thorough quality and other documentation as assigned.
Experience in administrative tasks is also welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Internal and External Audits: Plan, execute, and report on audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Testing: Ensure testing of incoming and finished products follows established standards and procedures.
- Certification & Documentation: Accurately certify, file, and control in-house and third-party certificates.
- Record Keeping: Maintain all certificates and paperwork in both hard and soft copies.
- Client Product History: Maintain a complete history of client products in use.
- Liaison: Coordinate with third-party surveyors for testing and certifications as needed.
- Procedure Review: Review work procedures and method statements to ensure compliance with good practices.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with safety regulations.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, testing, and document control.
- Working experience with ISO 9001.
- Understanding of engineering processes.
- Laboratory and tensile testing experience is an advantage.

Working Hours:
- 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Transport:
- Company bus service available from near Clementi MRT station at 8:10 AM to the office, with a return trip to Clementi in the evening.
