Job Purpose:
To ensure all construction works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
- Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records, and quality reports.
- Raise, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
- Coordinate material inspections, testing, and laboratory reports.
- Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure all quality records are properly maintained and readily available for audits.
- Promote continuous improvement in quality management processes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction standards, QA/QC procedures, and relevant codes of practice.
- Familiarity with inspection procedures, material testing, and quality documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
