We are looking for a QA engineer (Whitebox), who will be responsible to identify hidden problems of the system and to achieve early defects detection via automated whitebox testing using Junit framework.
Responsibilities
- .Work closely with backend software engineers to tune code and databases (Oracle, MySQL)
- Unit Test execution and development using Java programming language and IntelliJ IDEA (Integrated Development Environment)
- Work closely with project team for gathering requirement and smooth testing
- Log and track defect using Jira and track all problem reports to closure
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- At least 1 year of programming experience in Java
- At least 1 year of experience in using JUnit framework
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in White Box testing
- Fluent speaking and writing in English and Chinese language for business communication needs
- Experience with source control management tools (GitLab, Jenkins) and understanding of git concept
- Experience with RESTful (Representational State Transfer) API 3-tier architecture
- Understanding of SOLID principle is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, creative, and detail oriented Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Self - starter and can work independently
- Capable to work under pressure
