Summary of the Job: (Primary function of the job)
The primary function includes designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective and preventative actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures.
Job Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities of the job)
Lead the design, development, and implementation of quality systems to measure and report metrics including internal yields, Supplier quality, scrap, cost of quality, and warranty failure.
Work with Quality Control Inspectors to ensure compliance to standards, setting workflow priorities, and problem resolution.
Facilitate and maintain internal and external corrective action program and lead the closure of open actions.
Drive continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, eliminate scrap and reduce rework operations.
Ensure all processes, fixtures, and equipment used in manufacturing & assembly has adequate documentation.
Involvement in ECN, NCR and MRB to support achieving world-class quality.
Prepares product quality reports and metrics tracking charts by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and other regulatory compliance for materials, products, and facilities audits.
Perform related duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electric / Electronics / Mechatronics / instrumentation Engineering.
At least 2 years relevant work experience, especially in Quality control management, ISO management and Supplier/Customer Quality management.
Skilled in quality engineering (SPC, engineering drawing reading), advanced metrology, maintenance of quality certifications, product quality inspection requirements, calibration control, customer complaints & continuous improvement.
Knowledge in LEAN manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S & ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 added advantageous.
Prioritize & drive for results with the ability to engage & influence stakeholders to achieve important quality objectives.
Good communicator (both written/verbal). Strong in MS PowerPoint & MS Excel
