Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure the quality of national measurement standards for length and dimensional measurements.
- Establish international equivalence of measurement capabilities by participating in global comparison exercises.
- Achieve international recognition for calibration and measurement capabilities through external peer reviews, and contribute as a domain expert in reviewing other national metrology institutes.
- Disseminate national standards and measurement technologies to industry via calibration services, measurement solutions, and metrology R&D.
- Develop innovative measurement solutions and build new metrology capabilities to meet emerging industry needs, while creating programs to enhance technical competencies within the lab.
Requirements
- Strong academic background in science, engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in semiconductors, precision engineering, electronics, or length/dimensional metrology.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with optics, laser technology, nanotechnology, and advanced metrology techniques (e.g., coordinate and surface measurement) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in automation and digital tools experience in technical and project management is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
