Description
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Python and Playwright to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionalities and identify test scenarios.
- Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and provide feedback to the development team for improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.
- Continuously enhance the automation framework and tools to improve efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-9 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Proficient in Python programming language and its testing libraries.
- Strong experience with Playwright for web automation testing.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and test plans.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
