QA Automation Engineer (Selenium + Java)

Role Summary:
We are seeking QA Automation Engineers with strong expertise in Selenium and Java to support automated testing across enterprise banking applications. Candidates will be responsible for automating test cases, creating reusable frameworks, executing test cycles, and ensuring high-quality software releases across banking systems.

Key Responsibilities:
. Develop, enhance, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium and Java.
. Build and maintain automation frameworks (Hybrid, POM, TestNG/JUnit).
. Collaborate with functional testers, developers, and BA teams for test coverage.
. Perform API validation and functional integration testing where applicable.
. Execute and report SIT/UAT test cycles.
. Identify, log, and track defects effectively across development teams.
. Follow Agile/Scrum testing practices.
. Ensure compliance with banking QA standards and documentation.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have):
. Selenium WebDriver
. Java
. TestNG or JUnit frameworks
. Automation script design and maintenance
. Defect management tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.)
. CI/CD integration familiarity

Good-to-Have Skills:
. Appium for Mobile Automation
. Playwright for UI automation
. API Automation (RestAssured/Postman)
. Basic SQL and DB validation
. Performance awareness

Soft Skills:
. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
. Communication and cross-team coordination
. Experience in Agile-based delivery models

Domain Expertise:
. Banking or BFSI domain experience is mandatory.
