Job Description
This role supports Quality function activities including performance of visual inspection, dimensional inspection, and Functional testing to ensure product meets the product specifications.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Perform visual inspection, dimensional inspection, and functional testing for finished product audits.
Provide feedback on material or product discrepancies to vendors, upstream processes, or manufacturing, and liaise with the product release team.
Handle non-conforming products in accordance with the non-conformance product handling procedure.
Raise Quality Notifications (QN), block affected parts, and release incoming materials, components, and finished goods.
Ensure proper maintenance, retention, and easy retrieval of inspection quality records.
Prepare Certificates of Conformance (COC) and Certificates of Analysis (COA) for finished products.
Update the database with inspection results and generate weekly and monthly quality inspection trend reports.
Participate in team projects, such as data collection for quality improvement initiatives.
Collect inspection forms and other quality records required for lot traceability, ensure they are linked to the respective lot master, and maintain records per retention procedures.
Oversee sorting and rework activities, and collate and file the related data accordingly.
Coordinate internally with other functional groups.
Contribute to departmental activities to achieve set goals (e.g., Kaizen submissions, team building, safety initiatives, 20 Keys, etc.).
Participate in discussions and reviews of team performance during daily shift changeover meetings.
Participate in or drive continuous improvement initiatives and activities.
Generate monthly quality inspection trend reports.
Perform evaluation testing as specified by engineers.
Perform any other tasks as assigned.
General Accountability
Report all quality incidents, near misses, and non-conformances from SOPs and specifications, and participate in further investigations when required.

Adhere to the BD Code of Ethics.
Apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and/or Standard Work Instructions (SWI) in daily operations.
Uphold Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) by observing all applicable rules and procedures.
Ensure safety and ISO14001 environmental compliance by maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace, actively preventing hazards, and participating in sustainability initiatives such as recycling, resource reduction, and material replacement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Nitec, Diploma, or other relevant disciplines.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Basic understanding of key elements of Quality Management Systems, including CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485.
Able to multitask effectively and work independently with a strong sense of initiative.
Willing to work permanent 12-hour shifts, with shift allowance.
Possesses supervisory skills added advantage.
