As a Product Manager (Technical), you will need to:
- Drive business outcomes by taking on a product from end (problem definition) to end (release and continuous improvement):
- Interview stakeholders and users to understand problem space and define problem statement.
- Craft proposals to justify resource allocations and secure funding.
- Define success measures and set up dashboards to monitor progress.
- Identify hypotheses, develop product strategy, and devise initiatives to drive product outcomes.
- Create product roadmap and work with team to ensure timely achievement of goals.
- Work with designers, software engineers to develop, test and release product.
- Measure outcomes and continuously iterate product to drive outcomes.
- Engage with and support users to drive product adoption.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED
As a Product Manager (Technical), you need to have:
- Proven record of driving business outcomes.
- End to end experience working with design and engineering teams to build products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage high level stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure and prioritize effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with platforms like Confluence, JIRA, Balsamiq are a plus.
- Computer science, product management related degrees or diplomas are a plus
