As a Senior Lead Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing critical trading and risk technology systems. You will leverage strong technical expertise to solve complex engineering challenges across distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and high-performance applications.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable production systems
Review, troubleshoot, and optimize code to ensure reliability and performance
Influence architecture, application design, and engineering best practices
Drive technical decisions and contribute to operational stability across platforms
Act as a subject matter expert in key technical domains
Promote modern software engineering standards, frameworks, and SDLC practices
Mentor engineers and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
10+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise environments
Strong hands-on expertise in Python and/or Java, including system design, coding, testing, and deployment
Proven experience building scalable, resilient, and high-performance applications
Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies
Ability to independently solve complex design and engineering challenges
Experience working within financial markets, trading systems, or derivatives technology environments is advantageous
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Cloud platforms and modern infrastructure technologies
Agile development methodologies
Experience with low-latency or real-time systems
Knowledge of financial products, derivatives, or electronic trading platforms
