Job Description – Devlopment Support/Python Developer

Location: Singapore

Contract duration - 6 month and extendable

Salary: up to SGD 7,500/month

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Support Engineer to join our team supporting Meta's internal software applications and tooling. This role involves hands-on debugging, scripting, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure seamless development operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage and respond to support queries raised by Meta engineers.
• Analyze log files and system data to identify root causes and escalate issues appropriately.
• Develop basic tools and test cases to enhance support efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with technical writers to improve internal documentation.
• Generate performance reports and insights for leadership review.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to influence product development and roadmap decisions.
• Use advanced data tools to analyze and resolve support issues, contributing to faster ML model development cycles.
• Create debugging scripts and automate support workflows to reduce turnaround time.

Required Skills

• Python Development: 2–3 years of hands-on experience building small to medium applications.
• Ruby: Preferred but not mandatory.
• Frontend Technologies: Exposure to at least one; PHP preferred.
• Databases & Linux: 2–3 years of experience in managing and troubleshooting.
• Application/Dev Support: Prior experience in a support-focused environment is a strong plus.
• AI Integration: Basic understanding of AI in business applications is preferred.
