Software Engineer (Python) | Singapore

A leading quantitative trading firm is hiring Python engineers into its Singapore team. The setup is lean, highly technical, and built around people who like solving real systems problems at scale.

This role focuses on everything outside the ultra low latency path — the platforms, tooling, and infrastructure that keep trading, research, and data workflows running smoothly.

What you will work on

• Distributed compute and large scale job scheduling
• Internal tooling used by engineers and researchers daily
• Systems for monitoring trading and post trade workflows
• Data pipelines across structured and unstructured datasets
• Automation and infrastructure that supports global trading activity

What we are looking for

• Strong Python fundamentals with production experience
• Experience owning systems end to end
• Good understanding of Linux and system behaviour
• Solid debugging and problem solving ability
• Engineers who take initiative and improve existing systems
