Purchasing Manager (Team Lead) - FMCG Food

Be part of the leadership team of a fast-growing premium food distribution business with strong international backing and a well-established footprint across the hospitality, retail, and food service sectors.

What you'll drive:

• Lead the end-to-end purchasing and procurement operations

• Manage international supplier relationships and negotiations

• Oversee procurement planning across perishable and non-perishable products

• Drive forecasting, inventory optimisation, and supply continuity

• Partner closely with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, QA, and Finance teams

• Manage import coordination, compliance, and cold-chain operations

• Lead and develop the purchasing team while improving operational processes

What we're looking for:

• Experience within FMCG, food distribution, specialty foods, or perishables

• Strong purchasing / procurement leadership experience

• Background managing international suppliers and sourcing activities

• Familiarity with inventory planning, forecasting, and ERP systems

• Knowledge of import processes, customs, and food compliance regulations

• Comfortable working within a fast-paced operational environment
