Our client is an oil and gas company, primarily a Singapore-based firm. Reporting into a Head of Procurement, you will be tasked to support the end-to-end procurement activities and source for suitable suppliers.
about the job
- Support end-to-end procurement activities in accordance with company procedures
- Source suitable suppliers and obtain quotations for materials and services
- Coordinate technical and commercial evaluations with internal stakeholders
- Manage vendor pre-qualification and Approved Vendor List (AVL) administration
- Conduct site surveys and vendor capability assessments when required
- Proactively expedite deliveries and coordinate closely with suppliers
- Maintain frequent communication with internal stakeholders on procurement and delivery status
skills and experience required
- Bachelor Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field of study
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in purchasing or procurement
- Experience in Oil and Gas Industry is highly preferred
