Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and engage with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms that align with organizational goals.
- Efficiently handle purchase requisitions and generate accurate purchase orders in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Monitor industry trends, supplier markets, and procurement best practices to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
- Provide support to supervisors, contribute to team objectives, and proactively recommend improvements to procurement processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess vendor proposals and interpret procurement data.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of handling evolving responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
