Working days and hours: 5 days work week 9:00am-6:00pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Purchase construction materials and equipment to support project operations
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for price comparison
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate closely with site supervisors and project team on material requests
- Monitor and liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule and order status
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier database
- Arrange company vehicles for material collection and delivery where required
- Coordinate drivers and schedule transport to project sites
- Provide general administrative support to the operations team
- Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management
Job Requirements:
- Minimum O-Level /Nitec / Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the construction industry will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Responsible, well-organized and able to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Able to start work within short notice period
