Job Description
- Receive orders from Customers, create sales orders and shop orders.
- Provide customer support and management of customer order schedule.
- Co-ordinate with Program Management team in providing quotes to customers.
- Consult with Manufacturing Department regarding equipment, manpower, and workload. Participate in meetings to discuss control problems.
- Ensure strategic development and implementation of long-term contracts with supply base.
- Manage and oversee inventories in our warehouse and at customer sites for those Kanban part numbers
- Receive, interpret, discuss, and edit customer and sales orders. Respond to customer inquiries such as product selection and requests for prices and quotations.
- Issue PO to suppliers based on actual order & forecast and expedite for material as required
- Negotiate with suppliers to support cost reduction and Lead time reduction
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
- Expediting skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
- Working knowledge of ERP database and access database required
