Purchasing Assistant (Fresh Level)
Location: Ubi Avenue, East
- Data entry and maintain proper records
- In charge of purchasing electrical lighting component
- Process purchase orders and compile quotations
- Source for supplier and negotiate for best price
- Liaise with site supervisors and internal suppliers
- Matching PO/DO
- Take charge of daily purchases and overseeing the receiving section and the main store.
- Monitoring of statistical data on inventory status
- Follow up on orders to expedite deliveries
- Maintenance of purchase order files, invoices, and related purchasing records
- Coordinates the preparation of purchase orders based on approved requisitions
- Ensures the processing of appropriate communications with vendors regarding the ingredients requirement and quality issues
- Ensures the verification of invoices against original orders to ascertain compliance with all the conditions of purchase prior to payment
- Provide general administrative support to Procurement Manager
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- With 1-2 yrs relevant experience in construction industry prefers
- With GCE O level or Diploma qualification
- PC literate, well organized and self-motivated
- Able to source, select and manage vendor for both in Singapore and overseas purchase
- Good interpersonal skills dealing with suppliers and vendor
- We seek Mandarin-speaking candidates who are required to serve Mandarin-speaking site supervisor
