Job Description

Job Duties :

  • To receive and acknowledge interplant Pos and generate a PO to external suppliers on regular purchase items.
  • To negotiate with external suppliers on price when necessary and delivery lead time to meet internal customer's requirements.
  • Distribute and filing of new POs.
  • To confirm order acceptance and filing of PO acknowledgement with/from supplier.
  • To print out outstanding PO report on weekly basis and expedite with supplier for delivery/PO fulfillment.
  • Housekeeping and archiving of old PO files to designate location every year end.
  • In-charge and maintaining good filing skills for fast retrieval of all PO documents and files whenever necessary.
  • To perform stock check quarterly on selective inventoried spare parts for accuracy.
  • To liaise and follow up with suppliers/interplant on problematic delivery/shipment.
  • To keep track of record of any rejected parts and receipt of returned parts.

Job Requirements :

  • GCE O level or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Purchasing.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, independent, and a strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 5 days work week.
  • Transport pick up at Bedok MRT station.
