Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to secure quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Process RFQs, evaluate quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) promptly while monitoring order fulfilment and delivery timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to support operational and project requirements.
- Verify supplier invoices against supporting documents, including PRs, POs, and DOs, before submitting approved invoices for payment processing.
- Coordinate logistics, shipment arrangements, and deliveries from local and overseas suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation in accordance with company procedures and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Support additional procurement and administrative duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration or any relevant field.
- 1-2 years of procurement/purchasing experience strongly preferred (preferably within the Construction/ Engineering industry) candidates with no relevant experience are welcomed to apply too.
- Good understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, and purchase order management is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement-related systems.
