Overall Description

To plan & execute all related SCM & procurement activities and operations ranging from sourcing, negotiation, quality assurance, vendor qualification & audit to receiving & delivery.

SUPPLY CHAIN - PROCUREMENT - FABRICATED PARTS

. To be competent & manage procurement activities for fabricated parts & to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

. Fabricated parts including welded hollow section structures, aluminum profile structures, sheet metal parts, plastic & metal precision & semi precision parts.

. To establish proactive and positive long-term partnership with quality & key vendors to achieve ultimate quality & cost savings.

. To be a team player & collaborate with cross-functional in-house teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

. To update & maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and other relevant documents via the In-house SCM inventory systems.

. To stay relevant & resourceful in the selection & qualifying of new suppliers and vendor-supplier management.

DELIVERY/RECEIVING

. Local Delivery: to perform logistics duties ranging from packing, documentation, stuffing & unstuffing, loading & unloading for local delivery.

. Receiving: to receive both fabricated & standard parts from local & overseas delivery as & when assigned by the project teams.

. Receiving: to co-ordinate all corresponding mandatory requirements, documentation & clearance for parts received locally & overseas.

. To update the In-house SCM inventory systems for fabricated parts.

OTHER COMPETENCY

. Able to read basic technical drawings would be an added advantage.
