Responsibilities
- Handle full set of export shipping and bank documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance for smooth shipment clearance.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customers, suppliers and banks on export shipment matters.
- Prepare export shipping documents including L/C, Form D / Form E and other required documentation.
- Negotiate and review freight rates and supplier pricing to achieve cost competitiveness.
- Source and evaluate forwarders based on service, reliability and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with sales and project teams to meet customer and project delivery timelines.
- Provide monthly export shipping schedules and coordinate packing details with logistics for vessel booking.
- Follow up with suppliers on order readiness and shipping dates update vessel arrival details in ERP system.
- Process Material Requisitions (MR), Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Received Notes (GRN).
- Verify freight invoices against quotations and perform freight adjustments in ERP for month-end closing.
- Resolve shipment issues, discrepancies, complaints or claims related to import and export shipments.
- Maintain ISO procedures, documentation, records and filing.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
