Purchaser(Construction)

Benefits:

. 5-20% performance related pay (PRP) per month

Job Responsibilities

. Source and purchase construction, maintenance, repair and handyman-related materials, tools and equipment.

. Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate with suppliers.

. Manage purchase orders and ensure materials are delivered on time.

. Coordinate with project/site teams on material requirements and delivery schedules.

. Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment.

. Maintain good relationships with suppliers and source new suppliers when required.

. Ensure purchases are within the allocated project budget.

. Handle quotations, purchase orders, invoices and other purchasing documentation.

Requirements

. Minimum 2 years of relevant purchasing experience in the construction / building / renovation industry.

. Good knowledge of construction materials, suppliers and market pricing.

. Strong negotiation and quotation comparison skills.

. Good coordination and communication skills.

. Able to work independently and manage multiple purchase requests.
