Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate and liaise with local and overseas suppliers for construction materials & services
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings
  • Manage logistics for both local and overseas shipments, including import and export coordination
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents and customs where required
  • Prepare and process purchase orders (PO), delivery orders (DO), invoices and shipping documents
  • Ensure proper documentation for import/export (e.g. packing list, bill of landing, permits if applicable)
  • Track shipments and monitor deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time and in good condition
  • Follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, logistics and supplier performance
  • Work closely with project/site teams to understand material requirements and timelines
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and project budgets
  • Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned


Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics (construction industry preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to details
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
