Role Description:
Responsible for developing and implementing an organisation's PR and media strategy, building its reputation and ensuring effective media coverage.
Specific Responsiblities:
- Report to manangement
- Keep up to date on current affairs, news and government policies regarding the company's industry
- Coordinate all public relations activities
- Develop marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
- Proactively work with management and sales manager on PR strategies for the company
- Work with sales team to monitor and indentify areas that may affect the brand image of the company on social media
- Build and maintain a positive brand image of the company
- Write or approve media releases and other press materials
- Write or approve digital content of the company's social media outlets, such as regular posts, blogs or tweets
Competencies:
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships
- Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail
- Possess the ability to keep information confidential
- Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
- Self motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
Duration of Traineeship/Attachment Offered: 6 months
Approved Training Allowance:
• Fresh Graduates --$1,800
• Non Mature Mid Career Individuals --$3,000
• Mature Mid Career Individuals --$3,000
Education Qualifications Required for the
Traineeship Role under SGUnited Traineeship:
This position is open for both recent graduates and
mid career individuals (mature and non mature).
Graduates interested in this position should possess
a ITE Equivalent Qualification . Mid career individuals
from any qualification level can apply.
