What You'll Be Doing
The Shift from PR to SalesYour primary focus will be on the front end of the business cycle: generating new opportunities and turning them into signed contracts. You will
not be responsible for the day-to-day execution or management of client work (BAU).
- Generate High-Value PR Ideas: Based on industry trends and client needs, you will conceive and brainstorm compelling campaign ideas.
- Create Winning Proposals: Develop bespoke, persuasive proposals that clearly articulate the value of our services.
- Master the Art of Sales: Learn and apply proven sales techniques to navigate negotiations and successfully close deals.
- Strategic Networking: Attend relevant industry events and networking functions to build relationships and identify leads.
- Client Meetings: Conduct impactful meetings with prospective clients to understand their challenges and present our solutions.
Who We're Looking For
This role is perfect for a self-starter who understands the PR landscape but is motivated by a closing commission structure.
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience in Public Relations (PR): You must possess a strong foundational understanding of the PR industry, including media relations, campaign strategy, and pitching.
- Motivation for Change: You are actively seeking a role that shifts your focus away from client servicing (BAU, writing pitches, managing client work) and toward business development.
- Exceptional Communication & Presentation Skills: Proven ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and influence decision-makers.
