Public Engagement Ambassador (3-Month Contract)

Duration: 3 months

Salary: $15/hour

Working Days: Up to 5 days per week (Comprising both Weekdays and Weekends deployment, 40 hours per week)

Working Hours: 3 locations per day, with each session lasting 2 hours (e.g. 9am-11am, 12pm-2pm, and 3pm-5pm, with a lunch break in between)

Location: Various locations islandwide

We are looking for friendly and outgoing individuals to support a public-facing sustainability initiative at designated machine locations across Singapore. You will engage members of the public, provide guidance on proper usage, and help ensure smooth on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage and educate members of the public on proper container returns

• Guide users on correct operation of on-site machines

• Respond to basic public queries in a clear and professional manner

• Monitor machine usage and report any operational issues

• Maintain a professional, approachable, and tidy appearance

• Ensure the deployment area remains safe and orderly

Requirements

• Friendly and confident in engaging the public

• Clear communicators in English proficiency in additional languages or dialects is an advantage

• Reliable and punctual, able to commit to the full 3-month period

• Flexible, willing to work evenings and/or weekends, and able to adapt to last-minute schedule changes

• Comfortable standing for extended periods in a public-facing environment

• No prior experience is required customer service or outreach experience is an advantage
