Job Description & Requirements
- Supervise installation of ducts, anchorages, and PT strands
- Ensure correct alignment and fixing before concrete casting
- Plan and execute post-tensioning stressing operations
- Monitor elongation readings vs theoretical values
- Conduct and supervise grouting operations
- Verify materials (strands, wedges, anchor heads, grout) meet specifications
- Maintain PT records: stressing logs, elongation reports, calibration certificates
- Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and checklists
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes
- Coordinate with:Site engineers and construction teamsDesign engineers / consultantsPT system suppliers and subcontractors
- Resolve technical issues such as:Blocked ductsStrand breakageIncorrect elongation results
- Plan PT activities in line with construction schedule
- Report daily progress and highlight delays/issues
- Assist in method statements and work procedures
