About the Role
We are looking for a Research Intern with a background in clinical psychology or psychotherapy to join our AI Mental Health team. You will work closely with AI engineers and researchers to design clinical-grade therapeutic frameworks, build evaluation standards, and contribute to pilot deployments of our AI therapy system.

Key Responsibilities
- Therapy Workflow & Evaluation Design
Collaborate with AI developers to co-design dialogue structures, clinical workflows, and outcome evaluation criteria in alignment with established psychotherapy practices. - Theory Curation & Integration
Organize and structure key psychotherapy models and methodologies (e.g., CBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy), and define appropriate contexts for their application in AI dialogue systems. - Dialogue Strategy & Prompt Engineering Support
Advise on therapeutic prompt design and response strategy to ensure AI outputs are ethically aligned, clinically appropriate, and user-sensitive. - Pilot Deployment & Research Collaboration
Support experimental launches of the AI therapy system, engage with external institutions (e.g., universities, mental health NGOs), and contribute to comparative studies between AI and human-led therapy. - AI Training Support
Assist in the preparation of training data, including real-case material (appropriately anonymized), taxonomy definition, and intent classification to ensure high-quality model learning.
Requirements
- Education:
Master's student or graduate in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, or Mental Health Sciences.
Candidates with direct clinical therapy experience will be given priority. - Certifications (Preferred):
Recognized certification in psychotherapy or counselling (e.g., Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), American Psychological Association (APA), or equivalent). - Professional Knowledge:
Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy, and familiarity with mental health assessment tools. - Collaboration & Mindset:
Passionate about the intersection of psychology and technology. Willing to work in interdisciplinary teams with AI engineers and product designers.
