What The Role Is
As a (Senior) Research Psychologist, you are responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of research projects. You will also lead and manage research projects, including supervision of contracted research analysts and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will conduct forensic risk assessments and interventions with offenders, where required.
What You Will Be Working On
Conducting systematic literature reviews and environmental scans to inform research directions
Leading the conceptualisation, design, and implementation of quantitative and qualitative research studies
Overseeing and coordinating data collection processes, including management of research timelines, protocols, and stakeholders
Performing advanced statistical and qualitative data analyses (e.g., regression models, mixed-effects models, thematic analysis)
Interpreting and translating research findings into actionable insights for operational and policy decision-making
Preparing high-quality research outputs, including reports, presentations, and publications
What We Are Looking For

Work Experience & Competencies
At least 3–5 years of experience in psychology or social science research, ideally in a forensic or social service setting
Strong foundation in research design and methodology (e.g., experimental, quasi-experimental, longitudinal designs)
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and advanced analytical techniques (e.g., regression modelling, mixed-effects models, Difference-in-Differences)
Familiarity with qualitative research methods (e.g., thematic analysis, grounded theory)
Ability to translate research findings into actionable policy, operational, and intervention insights
Research Leadership & Communication
Able to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary research projects from inception to dissemination
Skilled at engaging stakeholders across operations, policy, and clinical teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Able to present findings at internal forums, conferences, and publications where applicable
