PSRO Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and driving the strategic direction of the Pet Specialty Retail Omnichannel business in Singapore.

This role requires a dynamic leader with deep understanding of pet food market, strong business acumen and the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders in pet specialty retail channel. The PSRO Sales & Marketing Manager will be leading, overseeing and directing the sales team to ensure sales targets are achieved through motivating, training, coaching and building an effective sales team.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Sales & Marketing Strategies

  • Develop and execute PSRO sales and marketing strategies that align with business goals to drive sales, enhance customer experience across retail physical & online stores.
  • Work closely with Brand Strategy and Activation Manager, Omnichannel Manager and related key stakeholders to develop PSRO business strategies and plans to drive business growth.
  • Lead marketing campaigns tailored to the Singapore pet retail market, including pricing, promotions, product launches, portfolio management, loyalty programs, and events.
  • Increase brand visibility and distribution in Pet Specialty Retail Omnichannel, drive high standard category solutions development and deployment through Perfect Store & Perfect Digital Store
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, customer segmentation, and personalized marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to keep the company ahead in the market.

Budget Management and Sales Performance

  • Prepare and manage PSRO budgets, approve expenditures within approval matrix, and deliver cost-effective operations.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI.
  • Set sales targets and KPIs, track performance, and ensure the sales team meets PSRO targets.
  • Sales Efficiency: Develop and deploy field visit standards, set KPI's and evaluate sales performance and field force efficiency metrics
  • Review and monitor sales performance periodically, and refine sales strategies accordingly

Key Accounts Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and key stakeholders in the pet industry.
  • Build productive collaborative relationships with key accounts to increase sales growth through category development and excellence in execution. To participate in top-to-top meetings with key accounts to invest in joint business planning and long-term strategy for Singapore key PSRO trade partners.

Sales Operations

  • Support the organization with appropriate quality of systems, reporting, sales forecast, sales KPI's, sales incentive program, customers trading terms
  • Ensure the organization is leveraging relevant IT tools and sales systems, compliant with established standards and supporting efficiency.

Lead and Mentor the Sales Team

  • Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Allocate sufficient field time for coaching and developing direct reports by role modeling and ensuring SFE KPIs are met

Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies in all marketing and sales activities.

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate degree or relevant experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales background, can work in a highly competitive and dynamic environment
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • At least 3 years of team management and 5 years in sales & marketing positions in FMCG environment
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with good negotiation skills
  • An interest for pets / nutrition would be a plus
  • Possess valid driver's license. Willing to travel
