Job Summary
Manage daily estate and facilities operations for a Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST) development, coordinating contractors, handling resident relations, supporting financial and compliance tasks, and responding to emergencies to ensure a safe, well-maintained living environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the development under the Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST) to ensure smooth functioning and resident satisfaction
- Conduct routine site inspections to assess and maintain the condition of common areas
- Report defects and coordinate maintenance and rectification works to uphold property standards
- Supervise service providers including cleaning, security, landscaping, and lift maintenance to ensure adherence to contract requirements and service quality
- Verify completion of vendor work before processing payments to maintain financial accuracy
- Respond promptly to residents feedback, complaints, and enquiries to enhance community relations
- Liaise with council members and managing agents on estate matters to facilitate effective governance
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with residents and stakeholders to foster transparency and trust
- Prepare detailed reports, incident logs, and maintenance records to document estate activities
- Assist in council meetings by preparing minutes and supporting administrative functions
- Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for easy retrieval and compliance
- Support budget monitoring and expenditure tracking to ensure financial control
- Ensure compliance with estate by-laws and house rules to maintain order and legal standards
- Assist enforcement efforts under the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act to uphold regulatory requirements
- Respond effectively to emergencies such as fire alarms, lift breakdowns, and water leakages to protect residents and property
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and contractors during incidents to manage resolution efficiently
- Prepare incident reports and follow-up actions to document and close out emergency events
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Property/Facilities Management or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in condo/MCST environment
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required
