ROLE CHARTER – AUTHORITY & GOVERNANCE
Core Accountability
Own the Group Security Strategy, policies, and governance framework covering Corporate Office, Residential Township, Retail Assets, and Managed Properties.
Serve as the single point of accountability for physical security, asset protection, personnel and public safety, incident response, and emergency preparedness.
Ensure security risks are proactively identified, mitigated, and reported in line with the Group's risk appetite, regulatory obligations, and insurance requirements.
Lead crisis management for high-impact events, including site incidents, public safety threats, and operational disruptions.
Decision Rights
Enforce Group-wide security policies and site security standards.
Activate emergency, evacuation, and crisis response protocols.
Approve security deployment models, technology solutions, and vendor strategies within the approved authority.
Recommend escalation, mitigation, or acceptance of security risks to senior management.

JOB DESCRIPTION – EXECUTION SCOPE
Security Operations & Risk Management
Plan and oversee security operations across construction sites, retail malls, and managed properties.
Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability studies, and site security reviews, including high-footfall retail and critical infrastructure environments.
Ensure security-by-design principles are embedded in new developments, asset upgrades, and major refurbishments.
Incident, Crisis & Emergency Management
Lead response to security incidents, public safety events, theft, vandalism, intrusion, and other operational threats.
Coordinate crisis response, evacuations, and business continuity support, including 24/7 critical facility readiness for data centres.
Oversee investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Vendor, Cost & Performance Management
Appoint and manage security service providers and technology partners.
Monitor SLAs, KPIs, compliance, and cost efficiency across diverse asset types.
Optimise security spend through risk-based deployment, technology enablement, and continuous review of cost-effectiveness.
Training, Awareness & Compliance
Drive security awareness, emergency drills, and incident preparedness programmes for employees, tenants, contractors, and operators.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, local authority requirements, insurance conditions, and audit standards.
Provide regular security performance, risk, and incident reporting to senior management, with clear recommendations and follow-up actions.

10–15 years experience in managing security across multi-site, mixed-use, or similar complex environments.

Strong track record in managing security vendors, implementing security technologies, and driving continuous improvement in security operations.
