Project Technical Manager (System Focus)
Job Description:
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations within agreed timelines, cost, and scope.
- Manage and oversee project documentation and subcontractor-related matters.
- Perform system setup and database configuration, resolve technical and design issues.
- Provide support for IT infrastructure, including Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
- Possess knowledge of network switches and the design of network devices within the project scope.
- Carry out installation, debugging, and troubleshooting of IT-related issues.
- Be hands-on in providing guidance and conducting knowledge transfer to site engineers.
- Oversee project teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Host, manage, and present project meetings.
- Report project progress to the Project Manager and follow up on software development and site installation works.
Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with good organisational and coordination abilities.
- Experience in Project Management, IT Management Systems deployment, or equivalent.
- Proficient in networking, SQL, and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge in the following areas:
- A. Cybersecurity
- B. SQL Management Studio applications and database table management
- C. Vulnerability assessment
- D. Software development concepts
- E. Setup and installation of access control systems (e.g. key management systems, CCTV, card readers, gantries)
- F. Project requirements and procedures
- Able to work independently and function well as a team player.
- Minimum of 7 years of system-related experience.
- Willing to travel between office and project sites.

- Working Location: Alternates between STE office and project sites
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00. May be required to work beyond standard hours and days depending on operational needs.
