Provide flexible, project-based coordination and administrative support for a Cancer Communication Toolkit in a research project, ensuring smooth vendor engagement, programme logistics, and timely delivery of resources over a 6-8 month period. Students in social work or research-related fields are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact for vendors and external partners, managing ongoing communication and relationships
- Coordinate logistics with vendors, including scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups
- Support the sourcing of new vendors by researching options, obtaining quotes, and maintaining records
- Liaise with community partners and volunteers as needed to support the development of toolkit
Delivery & Logistics Support
- Coordinate the delivery of programme items, arranging logistics and liaising with relevant parties.
- Track and document deliveries to ensure items reach the right people at the right time.
Programme Administration
- Assist with general administrative tasks including filing, tracking, and record-keeping
- Help transfer and reformat content from working documents (e.g. Word files) into programme-specific templates
- Maintain organised and up-to-date programme documentation
- Support the Programme Lead with ad hoc administrative needs as they arise
Requirements:
- Warm, clear communicator: written and verbal
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks within a limited time commitment
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively
- Proactive and resourceful, able to problem-solve without hand-holding
- Willing and able to carry out in-person tasks, including item delivery when needed
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and basic productivity tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Canva or Microsoft Office)
- Comfortable with document formatting and working from templates
