Interprets and works from prints, blueprints, charts, tables, work orders, verbal instructions and established practices to organize and complete assigned repair jobs
Supervises the activities of Electricians, Electrical Apprentices, and Electrician Helpers
Accomplishes hands-on electrical tasks on maintenance and construction projects
Organizes work orders, evaluates supply needs for tasking and assigns duties as appropriate to subordinate staff
Advises the Construction Coordinator, Maintenance Supervisor or PM Supervisor of job progress, material requirements and personnel matters
Routinely inspects worksites and evaluates staff tasking
Ensures staff attends required trainings and maintains records of departmental trainings
Evaluates job hazards and communicates information to staff verbally and in writing through various venues, including weekly and/or daily crew meetings
Interprets project tasking utilizing design drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams
Assists with the ordering of resupply parts for the electrical department to maintain adequate inventory of needed parts
