Work Arrangement: Office-based, with site visits as required
Salary: S$3,500 - $6,500 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit Method Statements (MS) and other project-related technical documents.
- Prepare drawings and sketches using AutoCAD, such as cutting plans, demolition sequences and work sequence drawings required for Method Statements and site coordination.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the progress of assigned projects to ensure timely and smooth execution of works.
- Represent the Company in project and site coordination meetings, and liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants and other relevant parties on project matters.
- Visit project sites as required for meetings, inspections, coordination and progress monitoring, and follow up on technical, operational and coordination issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate closely with site supervisors, foremen, workers, equipment operators and internal teams on work sequences, manpower, equipment and other site requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly progress claims, including work-done forms and compilation of relevant supporting documents.
- Coordinate with the Company's commercial team on work progress, additional works, variations, RFQs and other project-related matters.
- Maintain proper project records and ensure that progress updates, reports, photographs, submissions and other supporting documents are properly prepared and submitted on time.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction works in Singapore preferred.
- Good practical understanding of construction site operations, work sequences and site coordination.
- Experience in preparing Method Statements and construction-related technical documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, particularly for the preparation of Method Statements, reports and technical presentations.
- Able to use AutoCAD for construction drawings and sketches, such as cutting plans, demolition sequences and work sequence drawings.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, main contractors, consultants and site personnel.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Willing and able to travel between the office and various project sites when required.
- Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence is required
- Experience in LTA projects will be an added advantage.
- Experience in demolition, earthworks or civil infrastructure works will be an added advantage.
- Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.
