Job Summary
Support project managers by coordinating and supervising daily site activities for interior renovation projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely progress for commercial and F&B environments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily site activities and supervise subcontractors including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, ceiling, painting, flooring, and signage to ensure smooth workflow and project progress
- Attend site meetings, document minutes, and track follow-up actions to maintain clear communication and accountability
- Monitor and report daily work progress using photos and videos to provide accurate site status updates
- Inspect workmanship quality on site and identify defects or non-compliance issues early to facilitate timely rectification
- Assist in taking site measurements and verifying drawings and shop drawings to support accurate project execution
- Coordinate material deliveries, site access, and work schedules to optimize resource availability and minimize delays
- Enforce site safety compliance by monitoring PPE usage, housekeeping standards, and adherence to basic Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) rules
- Assist in preparing submission documents, method statements, and simple checklists to support project documentation requirements
- Support project handover preparation, defect rectification, and close-out works to ensure successful project completion
- Utilize AutoCAD to read and make simple amendments to drawings for site coordination purposes
- Use communication and collaboration tools such as WhatsApp, Google Drive, and Google Sheets to facilitate information sharing and reporting
- Capture clear site photos and videos to document progress and issues effectively
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Building, or Construction-related field
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and details
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively with workers, suppliers, and supervisors
- Comfortable working on construction sites and adhering to safety protocols
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-3 years of site experience in commercial or F&B renovation projects
- English proficiency (verbal and written) is required for project documentation and coordination. Chinese language proficiency is required due to frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers and subcontractors involved in renovation projects.
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take responsibility on site

- Salary: S$2,800 - S$3,500 / month (adjustable for candidates with strong site exposure)
