Project & Service Supervisor

Job Summary:
Carry out installation and commissioning work of company products in accordance with company requirements. Coordinate with various internal departments and external subcontractors to ensure that work executed meets the quality standards and specifications required by customers to ensure smooth and timely completion of projects assigned. Perform all aspects of installation, testing and commissioning of equipment to ensure that work executed is in compliance with required quality standards and project specifications.

Job Description:
. Perform assigned jobs and/or according to project schedule in a timely manner and submit complete documentation to Project/Site Engineer / office administrative to ensure fulfilment of daily tasks to customers satisfaction and in meeting department's sales targets.

. Complete and submit manhour report timely for office administrative to capture into SAP for analysis as and when required.

. Provide feedback to immediate Project/Site engineer on any short-supply items and/or additional customers requirements during follow up with subcontractors or at site meetings.

. Maintain allocated tools and all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issued in accordance to required EHS standards and company policies.

. Participate in periodic installation and safety training as scheduled to ensure constant update of product knowledge as well as to meet industry's EHS statutory requirements in carrying out related field activities.

. To observe safety precautions and to execute correct engineering practices at all times so as to minimize risk to self and others as well as damage to equipment and workplace.

. Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and manuals to carry out installation work.

. Operate hand and power tools to complete tasks such lifting, bolting, wiring, aligning and fitting.

. Support engineer and supervisors during testing, calibration and commissioning.

. Follow safety protocols and ensure work is completed to company quality standards.

. Travel to various job sites and assist in unloading and setting up equipment and materials.

. Attend inspection meeting and assist in the testing of installed equipment to ensure compliance with the local authority/board's requirements approval and acceptance.

. Ensure good 5S, always perform housekeeping in workplace.

. Complete all necessary quality documentation for projects in accordance with the QMS to ensure compliance with quality standards.

. QMS - Liaise with Project Engineer to ensure that activities and procedures are implemented and recorded in accordance as mentioned in our QMS.

. Maintain proper execution documentations and minutes of meeting to avoid claims and counter claims for delays or proof for extension of time with conduct periodic check on project filling and database to ensure it is properly file and relevant document are posted for easy reference.

. Develop and maintain good working relationship with the various parties at site that foster good client ties in the execution progress in order scope of works is not affected.

. Ensure own installation team and sub-contractors perform and comply with predefined quality scope of work and EHS standard.

. Communicate with Main Contractor/Consultant/Owner regarding project schedule and site facilities while manage customer changes throughout project and ensure deviations are commercially addressed ensuring configured documents are maintained at all times.

. Any others duties as assigned by supervisor.

. Feedback to supervisor on the respective site issue and the progress of the projects.

. To comply with all relevant EHS legal and other requirements associated with the job functions and responsibilities.

. To comply with all EHS requirements affecting the operations, including those affecting the customers, suppliers and contractors supplying and serving the departments.

. To participate in EHS program.

Qualification:
. NITEC / ITE certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related technical field.

Experience:
. Minimum 3 years of working experience in installation and commissioning work in construction industry.

. Good team player with ability to work independently.

. Working experience in a diverse cultural environment.

. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

. With Class 3 or 3A driving license is preferred.

. Able to work at height.
