Responsibilities:
- Ensure all M&E works are performed on time, within budget and in compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations
- Liaise with authorities, consultants and other relevant parties for technical submittal and approval from client/consultants
- Inspection of M&E works and ensure quality control on site in accordance with authority compliance and contractual specifications
- Responsible for the supervision and coordination of M&E works at project site for all M&E disciplines
- Carry out drawing, works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, wastage control and documentation in accordance with interfacing works of structural, architectural, and external works with all M&E disciplines
- Attend site technical, coordination and safety meeting for all M&E disciplines
- Take charge of M&E tender including taking-off and costing when required
- Review project specifications and technical clarifications for submittal process by trade specialist/partners
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering duly recognized by Professional Engineer Board of Singapore and accepted universities within the BCA listing
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in local construction industry
- Self-motivated, independent and good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in M&E AutoCAD
- Understand main contract / subcontract requirement
- Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate efficiently with clients, consultants and colleagues
- Meticulous, eye for details and a good team player
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
