Main Objectives
We are looking for a driven and strategic professional to lead high-value project opportunities (SGD 500,000 and above) in the Industrial Solutions and/or Infrastructure segments. The ideal candidate will focus on generating new leads through proactive engagement with key stakeholders such as consultants and end users, driving long-term business growth. You will take ownership of major project pursuits and play a pivotal role in guiding proposal development by collaborating closely with our sales and technical teams to deliver impactful, customer-focused solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and Coordinate Large Projects: Oversee the full project lifecyclefrom planning, tendering, and awarding to executionby coordinating closely with Sales and Technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Conduct research to uncover new opportunities within the Industrial Solutions and/or Infrastructure segments. Proactively engage relevant stakeholders to create entry points for Sales Engineers to initiate customer engagement.
- Support Sales Activities and Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the local sales team to drive business development through joint sales visits, participation in exhibitions, and facilitation of customer training sessions. Help craft compelling value propositions tailored to specific markets and customers.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Ensure timely and accurate coordination and tracking of project opportunities in MS Dynamics, following defined sales process principles for both standard and complex sales opportunities.
- Strategic Business Development: Contribute to the implementation of long-term strategies for growing sales in the Industrial Solutions segment, with a focus on key areas such as manufacturing plants and infrastructure projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical role managing projects within the Industrial Solutions and/or Infrastructure segments.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and business development for major projects, particularly those valued above SGD 500,000.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
- Strategic mindset with a solid grasp of customer behavior, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, negotiate, and build lasting relationships.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
