Job Description

Position Summary:

The Project Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing a robust pipeline of project opportunities within target market verticals (Data Centre, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Transportation, Government). You will prospect and nurture relationships with main contractors, subcontractors, developers and distributors convert competitor specifications to Allegion proposals deliver quotations and ironmongery schedules and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery, payment and project success.

Key Responsibilities

. Identify, pursue and qualify new project opportunities with main contractors, subcontractors, developers and distributors across target verticals.

. Review competitor specifications and prepare counter-proposals that meet client requirements while protecting margin and brand standards.

. Prepare and submit accurate quotations, ironmongery schedules and related documentation to clients and distribution partners.

. Maintain and grow a strong, multi-month sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.

. Act as the primary project sales contact for clients coordinate with project teams to resolve technical and commercial issues on site.

. Work closely with internal stakeholders - sales, marketing, product management, customer care and finance - to ensure project deliverables, approvals and deliveries are executed on schedule.

. Monitor site progress, follow up on approvals, deliveries and invoicing escalate risks and obstacles to ensure timely payment and project completion.

. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities, quotes, client communications and project status in the CRM.

. Provide regular reports on pipeline, wins/losses, forecast and key market insights to management.

. Support product and marketing initiatives by feeding market and competitor intelligence participate in trade shows or industry events as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline preferred.

. 5+ years of project sales, specification sales, or business development experience in architectural hardware, building products, construction or related industries.

. Proven track record selling to main contractors, subcontractors, developers and/or distributors in Singapore or the region.

. Strong technical understanding of door hardware, ironmongery scheduling or building products preferred.

. Excellent communication and negotiation skills able to present and influence at senior client and contractor levels.

. Strong project coordination skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight timelines.

. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems good numeracy and commercial acumen.

. Self-motivated, results-driven, with a hands-on approach and willingness to attend site meetings.

Preferred

. Existing network of contacts in Singapore construction market and knowledge of public tender processes.

. Familiarity with building codes, specification writing and ironmongery standards.

. Bilingual skills advantageous (e.g., English plus Mandarin or Malay).

Working Conditions

. Office-based with frequent customer/site visits across Singapore occasional regional travel may be required.

. Flexible hours to attend client meetings, site inspections and project milestones.
