Job Overview
The Project QS reports directly to the Contract Manager and is attached to specific project(s) to manage cost, contract, and financial matters throughout the project lifecycle.

- Report directly to the Contract Manager
- Attached to assigned project(s)
Key Responsibilities
Upon Project Confirmation
- Understand and apply construction contract fundamentals (PSSCOC, SIA, SOPA; FIDIC for overseas projects is an added advantage)
- Assist in procurement of major equipment and confirmation of subcontractors
During Project Construction
- Manage Variation Orders (VO) and identify contract boundaries between:
- Winner and Main Contractor / Client
- Winner and Subcontractors / Suppliers
- Prepare cash flow projections
- Submit progress claims to Main Contractor / Client
- Administer payment certification for Subcontractors / Suppliers
Project Closure
- Prepare and finalise Final Accounts
- Review overall project financial performance
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Experience in construction or M&E projects preferred
- Familiarity with PSSCOC / SIA / SOPA contracts
- FIDIC experience for overseas projects is an added advantage
- Able to work independently on assigned projects
