Project Procurement Manager, Asia Pacific

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Procurement Manager to drive our procurement operations across the Asia Pacific market. Specializing in energy industry, this role will play a critical role in developing cost-effective purchasing strategies, specifically focused on cranage and installation, while expertly managing budgets, risks, and cross-functional communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop, negotiate, and execute sound, highly cost-effective procurement strategies for the purchasing of cranage and installation services across the Asia Pacific region.
• Budget Management: Guarantee the utmost accuracy and quality of budgets dedicated to heavy lifting (cranage) and equipment installation.
• Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify, assess, and accurately quantify all potential Risks and Opportunities related to the project procurement scope to protect project margins.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate and liaise seamlessly with internal departments (including Sales, Logistics, and Project Management) throughout the sales process to ensure strategic alignment.
• Project Handover: Facilitate a smooth and comprehensive handover process to the Project Execution team, ensuring total clarity and seamless management of the project scope.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• Technical Expertise: Deep industry knowledge of wind turbine logistics, heavy crane operations, and specialized installation methods/techniques. (Familiarity with BESS is highly advantageous).
• Communication: Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin (both verbal and written) are essential for liaising with diverse stakeholders across the Asia Pacific market.
• IT Proficiency: Strong digital literacy with excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
