We are looking for aProject Officer/Research Associate to participate in a disaster zone enhancement project. The role will focus on exploring the usage of Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites for complex rescue operations in urban areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and testing of FRP materials to strengthen concrete beams, columns and other supporting structures.
Coordination between collaborators and progress reporting.
Preparation of test videos, reports, and manuals from the results of the developmental work.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Materials Science & Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent, with 3 to 4 years of working experience / Masters degree in Materials Science & Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent, with at least 1 year of working experience
Strong lab/hands-on skills
Competent in data analysis and good communication skills
Experience and knowledge in using FRP materials as a strengthening material will be a plus
