On behalf of our client, an Original Equipment Maker (OEM), we are looking for a suitable candidate to join them as a Project Officer.
Summary
Assist the manager in planning and managing the operation of the Project Execution in areas of coordination, organizing, and execution of all works during installation, and adjustment till successful commissioning/handover of the equipment in the project.
Responsibilities
1) Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the projects assigned
2) Plan, organize, and execute work within the project supervision group.
3) Ensure corrective action is taken when non-conformance within the project supervision group is found.
4) Vetting of all outgoing supervisors correspondence to customers.
5) Coordinate with Corporate Function Dept/Engineering Dept/QA Dept/Design for all project equipment deliveries schedules, shortages, errors, or defective parts.
6) Review and justify all PRs issued by supervisors for purchasing materials.
7) Assist the managers in designing and implementing new work instructions/forms for improving work quality and efficiency.
8) Assist the manager in the maintenance and calibration of tools used by the supervisors and ensure that subcontractors tools used are also calibrated.
9) Assist the manager in reviewing, maintaining, and updating Installation Manuals, and prepare new/revised Installation Check Records.
10) Responsible for distributing installation drawings and related tools to subcontractors for their installation works.
11) Initiate commitment and take action with the supervisors and subcontractors to comply with Environmental Policy, relevant environmental legislation, other requirements, and the prevention of pollution
12) To fully ensure the supervisors and sub-contractors comply strictly with WHSA, conduct regular safety patrols and meetings on safety matters.
13) Perform other duties assigned by the Superior
